Key Responsibilities:

The VP of Marketing is a pivotal role responsible for steering the organization’s marketing efforts. This role encompasses the strategic development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies designed to drive revenue growth, elevate brand awareness, and fortify brand equity. In this role, you will lead the marketing initiatives, establish key marketing objectives, and strategically allocate the marketing budget to optimize outcomes and ensure alignment with the organization’s overarching business goals.

Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Lead the Charge: Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with our bold organizational goals and drive impressive revenue growth.
  • Insightful Analysis: Dive deep into consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive dynamics to craft data-driven strategies that set us apart.
Campaign Development and Management:
  • Creative Visionary: Design and oversee captivating marketing collateral and campaigns that captivate our target audience and deliver outstanding results.

Content Creation and Optimization:

Budget and Financial Management:

  • Cross-Functional Collaborator: Work seamlessly with internal departments (sales, SMEs, product development, operations, finance) to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
  • Agency Liaison: Partner with external agencies, designers, and production teams to ensure high-quality execution of marketing projects.
Customer Focus and Market Expansion:
  • Opportunity Seeker: Identify and assess new market opportunities and industry trends to expand our market reach.
  • Customer Advocate: In partnership with our Customer Success function, develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty through exceptional service programs.
Performance Tracking and Improvement:
  • Analytical Approach: Employ data analytics to track campaign performance, refine strategies, and drive continuous improvement based on market feedback and competitive analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years of marketing/communication and progressive leadership experience in hardware and software as a service industry. Background in security/protection a plus.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a supervisory/management role leading a project, process or team.
  • Advanced experience in planning and executing digital and traditional marketing and communication strategies and activities that result in increased shareholder value.
  • Extensive experience in brand management, product development, market research, database management (HubSpot experience is a plus), advertising, promotions and corporate communications.
  • Excellent negotiating skills and deep experience managing vendor/agency relationships.
  • Proven experience and expertise in creating and presenting project proposals, reports and communications that present issues, ideas and opportunities clearly and concisely.
  • Advanced experience in determining, developing, reporting and presenting on applicable marketing and communication analytics and the quantified Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Highly collaborative and emotionally intelligent with keen interest in relationship building and consensus building skills.
  • Ability to organize time to manage multiple priorities within demanding timeframes.
  • Excellent project management and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to marketing.
