Title: Accounting Associate

Location: Hybrid, Westwood, MA (4 Days per Week)

As our Accounting Associate, you’ll partner across multiple functions — playing a key role in keeping our finance, customer success, and HR processes running smoothly while helping our teams grow and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the full Accounts Payable cycle—accurately enter invoices, resolve discrepancies with care, and ensure vendors are paid on time.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships by keeping vendor and customer records clear and up to date.
  • Prepare and submit invoices to customers, manage collections, and support our customer success team tracking and securing contract renewals.
  • Support our financial operations by recording journal entries and assisting with general ledger reconciliations.
  • Open and organize incoming mail, deposit checks, and ensure all transactions are recorded with precision.
  • Support benefits enrollment, compliance, payroll and HRIS platforms, as needed.
  • Support special projects and initiatives assigned by the Accounting Director.

Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient with QuickBooks.
  • Min. 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting.
  • Strong MS Office skills - advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent customer service (internal and external, solutions-focused), high level of attention to detail, and professional communication.
  • Organized, collaborative, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
